For more than a year, television cable channels have been airing documentaries about the possible end of time - December 21, 2012. Adventurers have discovered remains of the ancient Mayan long count calendar, which to some, seems to indicate our days are numbered. The concept that we're all sliding down a slippery slope to the end of the world has been aired enough times to scare some of us into taking drastic measures of survival. For instance, in Osage, Kansas, decommissioned United States missile silos have been converted into modern condominiums. Fourteen stories underground, these expensive dwellings include a stockpile of government surplus food and all that's needed to survive the coming doom of 2012. Some believe the end of 2012 will bring a polar shift of the earth's axis, thereby bringing cold temperatures to tropical places and heat to regions where polar bears live. Of course, an event of this magnitude would create tremendous havoc upon planet Earth. Can these concepts be true? Are we near the end of time as we know it? Before we run for cover and stockpile a variety of canned goods in our basements, let us turn to the one steady source of truth - The Bible. I Chronicles 16:30 says,
"Tremble before Him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved." The prophet Isaiah had something to say about this matter in Chapter 9: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever." However, it is possible that we are at the beginning of the end of an age - perhaps we're coming to the end of the reign of Satan upon the earth, and we're at the front steps of a new beginning in the reign of Christ. Instead of fear, our hearts should be filled with joy for the coming peace, prosperity and love that Our Savior can bring to us. A Revelation to The Holy See On September 25, 1888, Pope Leo XIII conducted regular morning Mass. Suddenly, he became traumatized to the point that he collapsed. Others who attended the Mass, rushed to his side, believing they witnessed his death. Pope Leo regained consciousness and gave testimony to an earth-changing spiritual experience. The Pope described a frightful conversation taking place in front of him at the tabernacle. He testified he clearly heard a conversation between Our Lord, Jesus Christ and Satan. Satan boastfully claimed that he could destroy The Christian Church if he were granted 75 to 100 years to carry forth his plans. He also asked for "a greater influence over those who will give themselves to my service." To Satan's petition, Our Lord answered, "You will be given the time and the power."

For Pope Leo, a truly devoted man of God, who held the longest reign as leader of The Catholic Church, this was a Church-changing event. Deeply shaken by his spiritual experience, he composed the Prayer to Saint Michael, and ordered it to be said after every Low Mass. This would be a powerful protection for all against the upcoming attacks by Satan. (See the entire original prayer below). Thereafter, the "Saint Michael" prayer was recited at Mass throughout the world in its entirely until the year 1934, when it was shortened to: "Holy Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the earth seeking the ruin of men. Amen." In the year 1962, Pope John XXIII unexplainably removed the prayer entirely from the Catholic Mass. The Devil's Time is Short Returning to Pope Leo XIII's spiritual experience, many have pondered the explanation of Satan's 75 to 100 years of power and the power of those who serve him. The most important portion of the Pope's revelation would be a determination of which years would be given to Satan. In the immediate years following 1888, nothing much seemed to happen, so theologians have discounted those years from Satan's realm of power. In the years 1912 to 1914, a number of calamities occurred - the sinking of the Titanic and the beginning of World War I; followed by the brutal killing of the Russian Czar and his family, the early signs of Communism, along with numerous other terrible events. If this was the beginning of the 100 years of Satan, then we have already lived through the worst of his wrath and the zenith of his power, and we are at the dawn of the end of Satan's power and the power of his servants here on earth. Although Jesus granted Satan power through his servants, he did not leave the followers of Christ empty-handed. We have been given the tools and the means to defeat the enemy through the power of the Shed Blood of The Divine Lamb, Our Savior, Jesus Christ. On April 24, 1994, Pope John Paul II recommended the daily recital of the Saint Michael Prayer for the protection and well-being of every Christian. Do you fear the end of the year 2012? Be strong in your faith to God, for it is written in the Book of Proverbs (1:33), "Whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm." From the Book of Daniel, Chapter 7:13, "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man coming with the clouds of Heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshipped Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed." Through word-of-mouth, publications; then radio, television, the internet and messaging; through the missionaries of Christ, His Word is continuously being spread to every nation and place on our planet. Our Lord is With Us Forever From I John 5:11, God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." The Book of Revelation reminds us that the devil's time is short, indeed. This ministry looks forward to the new age - the age of the coming of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the only Son of God. In Catholic services, the St. Michael prayer has once again been added for the protection of Christians everywhere. In addition, as for those polar shifts of the earth, NASA has confirmed the earth is stable in the universe and such a shift of poles would be impossible at this time.

+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ O Glorious Archangel St. Michael, Prince of the heavenly host, be our defense in the terrible warfare which we carry on against principalities and Powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, spirits of evil. Come to the aid of man, whom God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Fight this day the battle of The Lord, together with the Holy Angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan, who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold, this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay and cast into eternal perdition souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and every vice and iniquity. These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the Immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered. Arise then, O invincible Prince. Bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and Patron, in thee Holy Church glories as her defense against the malicious power of hell; to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm The Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of The Most High, so that they may quickly conciliate the mercies of The Lord; and beating down the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan; do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen. Behold the Cross of The Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah has conquered,the root of David. Let thy mercies be upon us, O Lord. As we have hoped in Thee. O Lord, hear this prayer, and let our cries come unto Thee. Let us pray: O God, the Father of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy Holy Name, and as suppliants, we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin immaculate and our Mother, and of the glorious Archangel St. Michael, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all other unclean spirits, who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of souls.
